Emotions tell you things! (Day 3)

Only within the last six months did i really learn and understand that emotions are providing information about your experiences. I have no idea about anyone else, but i feel like I’m *really* behind the curve.

My life has improved drastically once i grokked “sadness = I feel I lost something”, “anger = I feel I have been hurt”, “disgust = I dislike that”, and so on. Information is useful and helps frame what’s going on, where previously feelings were distracting and made things more difficult for no apparent reason.

When did everyone else learn about all this?
